Best transportation option: Bike to the event!

Don't want to deal with parking? Ride your bike to Kids Day and Local Motion will be on hand with their Free Valet Bike Parking to park your bike safely for free, for the entirety of the event! They'll also have helmet decorating, so make sure to wear your helmet!

Parking

Parking is available at several locations along the Waterfront. Options include:
- Metered PEASE lot parking at the bottom of College Street
- Free parking on the Lake Street Extension
- Parking at the Fishing Pier on Penny Lane

Other downtown options:
- Park in any of the City's parking garages, including Marketplace Garage (47 S Winooski Ave), Lakeview Garage (45 Cherry St.) and College Street Garage (60 College St.) and walk down to the Waterfront or take the FREE College Street GMT shuttle! Shuttle runs every 15 minutes. 

Parade Parking

The parade begins at the corner of College and Church Streets. Folks in the parade can park at any of the above locations, including the City's parking garages, which are FREE for the first two hours! 

Another parking option is the Edmunds School Parking lot, which will offer free parking for parade participants. That can be accessed on Maple Street, between Willard and Union streets.
